AFROFEST AFRICA

AFROFEST Africa is an international cultural initiative developed by Music Africa of Canada Inc. to expand the vision and impact of the AFROFEST brand beyond Canada. Building on the success of AFROFEST in Toronto—the largest free African music festival in North America—AFROFEST Africa aims to create collaborative festivals and cultural exchanges across African countries that celebrate African music, arts, entrepreneurship, and cultural heritage.

The project is designed to strengthen connections between African artists on the continent and artists in the African diaspora, while creating opportunities for cultural exchange, professional development, and international collaboration. AFROFEST Africa also seeks to support local creative industries by providing platforms for musicians, dancers, visual artists, vendors, and cultural organizations to showcase their work to wider audiences.

Through partnerships with local promoters, cultural organizations, and community stakeholders, AFROFEST Africa will contribute to the growth of Africa’s creative economy while strengthening cultural ties between Africa and Canada.

At this time, Music Africa of Canada Inc. is actively seeking funding and strategic partnerships to support the implementation of AFROFEST Africa for this year. Once funding has been secured, official dates, locations, and participating countries will be announced.

AFROFEST Africa represents an important step in building a global platform that celebrates African culture, supports artists and entrepreneurs, and strengthens cultural exchange between Africa and the world.
